Specialty coffee with social impact: SAKONA's vision for fair trade

In specialty coffee there are professionals for whom value lies not only in the quality of the bean, but also in the real impact on the communities at origin. For SAKONA, commercial viability and social commitment must always go hand in hand.

Valuing the work at origin and supporting coffee-farming families

This philosophy comes from a clear vision rooted in traditional farming: valuing the work of people in the field and avoiding the lack of protection that small producers often face when dealing with intermediaries.

With this in mind, we believe in working with people who deal directly with coffee growers in Colombia's producing regions, with a focus on families in vulnerable situations. The aim isn't charity, but real fair trade. That means providing technical training and tools so producers can improve their processes, increase their income and grow their own businesses.

Your daily coffee can be the result of a transparent value chain, where training and support for farming families go hand in hand with an internationally recognised quality standard.
