ABOUT THE FARM.

Mutanga Washing Station, set up in 2013, works with 1,061 local farmers. It can process between 500 and 600 tonnes of cherry and has 120 drying beds.

Average temperatures in the area range from 18 to 25 °C, conditions that help preserve the quality of the bean throughout processing.

The station is 140 km from Bujumbura and, under the management of Masabo Thierry, gives local producers a place to process their coffee, ensuring physical and sensory consistency in every lot.
